P90X in 90 Seconds: Legs and Back Workout Video

The P90X Legs and Back workout is the only strength training workout that is done in all phases. Creating this workout video was slightly challenging in that 1) my gym was under construction and 2) a lot of the leg exercises require that you cover some ground. As a result, some of the workout video is shot in strange areas.

All in all, I like this workout. I could see doing this workout after I’m done with P90X (I only one week left technically). What I love about the leg exercises is that it is heavily based on high number of repetitions for most of the exercises. As a woman who has relatively muscular legs, high repetitions and low weight is ideal in order to keep them as slim as possible. As far as the back exercises go, you’ll see that as with all of the P90X workouts, you can do them using various equipment. I hate using resistance bands, and only do so if I’m traveling and the gym in the hotel doesn’t have decent equipment. You’ll see in this video, that I either use the Gravitron or a pull-down bar for chin-ups and pull-ups.
