3 Exercises to Lift and Tone Your Glutes

Summer is just around the corner…and you know what that means: Time to fit into your swimsuit!  Many clients complain to me that their worst fear is “butt ooze” out of the back of their bathing suit.  The good news is that your butt is one of the easiest areas to tone.  There are tons of great exercises that you can do that don’t require a gym membership.

To avoid bathing suit “butt ooze” you want to firm, tone and lift the muscles to give your behind a nice shape.   These are my three favorite exercises for toning and lifting your butt:

    Why do we want to be on our forearms (as opposed to up on our hands) during the first and third exercises here?

      Hi Heather,
      Thanks for the question. Staying on your elbows helps to put less strain on your back When you are on your hands, you may have more tendency to let your back become over-curved which can hurt your form. Try it and see if that makes sense.
