This week’s video is specific to Week 2: Get Your Zzz’s! Sleep is extremely important to our overall wellbeing. It allows our bodies and minds to get the needed rest they need. Sleep is instrumental to our ability to function properly, to maintain a healthy metabolism, and to keep our immune system working optimally. Further, we look our best when we get proper sleep (“beauty rest” was coined for a good reason!).
Just as when we are children, we all benefit from creating “bedtime rituals” or sleep rituals that get us into the mood for sleep. Here are some of my (and your) favorite suggestions for creating a good bedtime ritual.
